وأضاف الدكتور الذياب ان جامعة الكويت ضمن استراتيجياتها الجديدة مستمرة في الحملة خلال العام الدراسي بهدف ترشيد استهلاك الكهرباء والمياه ورفع التوعية الوطنية لجميع أفراد الأسرة الجامعية (طلبة - أعضاء هيئة تدريس – الموظفين) لترشيد الطاقة داخل الحرم الجامعي تحت شعار «وفر».
وأوضح ان ما جعل الأمانة العامة تتفاعل مع حملة «وفر» هو شعورنا بان الكويت مسؤولية الجميع والمحافظة عليها وعلى مواردها وثرواتها أمانة يجب ان يقوم بها كل شخص يعيش على أرضها من أبنائها، وان الحكومة وحدها ليست هي المسؤولة عن ذلك بل كلنا شركاء في الترشيد والاستفادة من الكهرباء والماء.
وذكر انه سيرافق حملة «وفر «حملة اعلانية واعلامية من خلال تنظيم مؤتمرات ومعارض بالتعاون مع مكاتب العلاقات العامة مختلف الكليات بالجامعة، بالاضافة الى توزيع مطبوعات واصدارات خاصة لتوعية المجتمع الجامعي، مشيراً الى أنه سيتم كذلك الاستعانة بالموقع الالكتروني لجامعة الكويت http://www.kuniv.edu.kw بالاضافة الى مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي التويتر والفيس بوك والرسائل القصيرة (SMS) وشاشات العرض الموجودة في مختلف مواقع الجامعة في حملة التوعية.
